Founder Kurt Seidensticker launched Vital Proteins in 2013 with one goal in mind: To help others live fuller, more vibrant lives. The road to launching Vital Proteins began a few years ago, around the same time he began experiencing knee discomfort from running. He had always been an avid runner, so the setback was enough to spark his search for a product that would help provide a source of amino acids for protein synethsis. Incorporating ingestible collagen into his diet was the answer since collagen helps to reduce joint pain associated with osteoarthritis.
