Who knew that a moldy student apartment, recurrent sinus infections and chronic hives would be the guiding force that created a baked goods brand? I was super sick in University and in the most cliche sense became “sick and tired of being sick and tired” so I decided to “go the natural route” which changed my entire world as I knew it. I was diagnosed with a soy allergy and my life quickly became filled with reading ingredient labels on the back of packaging. I was shocked and mortified by the “ingredients” in “health food”. Growing up with a passion for baking and food, I knew there was a better way. I became a holistic nutritionist and opened a healthy grocer in my hometown, thinking there must be others that wanted the products I was driving all over for. We made a few baked goods in house until I blinked and we had built an entire line of gluten-free, vegan, soy-free, corn-free, preservative free baked goods sold in the fridge and freezer to maintain freshness. I’ve felt forgotten and left out countless times because of my dietary restrictions, often resorting to having an apple instead of what I really wanted - a delicious chocolate chunk cookie. Our baked goods exist to provide a convenient, grab and go, gluten-free and vegan option for anyone, at any time, anywhere. I hope you love them as much as I do.
