Co-founders Maia and Daniela are two moms dedicated to developing healthy eating habits in children - the fun way!

Inspiration came from the French school lunches served to Maia’s kids as emphasis in France is on balance, variety, taste and nutrition. Yumbox replicates that same balance and nutrition for kids, regardless of where you live. Maia and Daniela wanted a box housing a bento-like tray, with one lid that sealed all compartments, designated food groups to encourage a balanced meal, built-in portion control, a cool design and illustrations to make this little box more fun than just plain old lunch! Now everyone (even kids) can pack a nutritionally balanced meal using Yumbox!
